24-hour Parking in Blackpool
In central Blackpool, most of the old Victorian housing stock was built without any parking spaces. Therefore, parking is at a premium in these central locations. Visitors driving to Blackpool should budget around £16 for 24 hours of parking, and this includes those staying at hotels. Hotel parking in the central area is generally not included in the room rate.
Closest Car Park to Bloomfield Apartments
The closest car park to Bloomfield Apartments is the open-air Foxhall Village car park. This car park consists of 129 spaces and is priced at £16 per day. The Foxhall Village car park is part of a series of public car parks stretching 1.3 miles along Seasiders Way, giving visitors a choice of over 3,000 parking spaces.
Free Parking in Central Blackpool?
There is some free parking in the retail park just a 5-minute walk from the apartments. At the time of writing there are no parking restriction signs at this car park. Please check for yourself if this has changed. If you're using the nearby leisure park (for McDonald's, Bannatyne Health Club, or Costa), you can park there guilt free.
Free Street Parking
There is a very small amount of free street parking opposite the apartments. This parking can be found opposite Taco Bell. The adjacent land is part of the new sports village development, so this free parking will probably disappear at some point.
Discounted Parking at Council-run Car Parks
Blackpool has some very large central, council-run car parks, including the new multi-storey car park at the top of Central Drive. There are also some smaller car parks dotted around the area. These car parks offer multi-day discounts, so for a 3-day stay, the rate is halved to just £8 per day (£24 for 96 hours). If you stay for a week, it's just £5.71 per day.
Secure Covered Parking in Blackpool
At the top end of Central Drive, you will find the newly built Blackpool Central car park. This covered car park boasts over 1,300 spaces and secure entrance/exits. Opening hours are 7am - midnight. At £19 per day, parking is more expensive here, but multi-day discounts do still apply. In fact, if you stay for a week, the parking is just £40, which is in line with all other comparable council car parks.
